"Your Neck of Woods" feat. Fallon Clark. In addition to kicking off Black History Month, Dr. Elenora Woods hosts today's guest Fallon Clark. Fallon is the Author and Producer of the broadway play "On Sundays We Brunch: For Colored Girls", featured in Chattanooga starting Feb. 16th. at the Chattanooga Civic Center at Mountainside 701 Hooker Rd. Fallon Clark is a performing arts enthusiast. After performing professionally for several years as a model, actress, and vocalist (local and national) she decided to take her artistic and professional ambition to new heights as the founder of Noogavision Theatre and Performing Arts Company. She currently serves in the dual role of executive/creative director. As a leader in performing arts her aim is to “Nurture the soul of the artist and to serve the heart of the community, while encouraging both to grow professionally and economically.” While she has gained a number of awards and recognition throughout the years. She is most recently a 3 time nominee of the Black Excellence Awards “Best in Performance Arts” and was crowned "Ms. Volunteer State" in 2023 with the Amerifest pageant system. She also has a passion for workforce development and currently works as the Lead Talent Acquisition Specialist for Airgas an Air Liquide Fortune 500 Company. She holds a BS in Sociology and is currently working towards her Master 's of Public Administration at UTC. Her memberships include Sigma Gamma Rho, Inc. (Gamma Theta Sigma Chapter- Anti-Basileus "VP"), Society of Human Resources (SHRM), Performing Arts League (Board Secretary), Inc., and Tennesseans for the Arts. She is a graduate of the 2023-2024 cohort of the Holmberg Arts Leadership sponsored by Arts Build. Upcoming Production: Sunday brunch theatre series: An intimate and immersive theatrical experience that combines the joy of brunch with the powerful storytelling of Ntozake Shange's iconic choreopoem, “For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide when the Rainbow is Enuf”. Dates: Sunday Feb. 16th -Sold OUT Sunday Feb. 23rd Sunday March 2nd Sunday March 9th Brunch begins at 1:00 p.m. Pre Show begins at 2:00 p.m. featuring local youth performers The Main Show begins at 2:30 p.m.
